Cultivate Calm Mornings is a 3-part yoga workshop series designed to gently guide you out of the overwhelm and into peaceful, present mornings without overhauling your entire life.
Shift from the constant rush to a gentle rhythm that works.
Set a grounded tone for you and your kids before you head into your days.
Show up to work focused and energized, not pre-stressed.
Cultivate Calm Mornings Is For...
Working moms who feel rushed every day
Moms who've struggled to shift hurried routines
Moms longing for more family time in the morning
Working moms craving a slower lifestyle
Working moms seeking gentle, supportive rhythms
Moms tired of arriving to work pre-stressed

I'm a full-time working wildlife biologist, yoga practitioner and teacher, and toddler mom. When my baby was four months old, I was back at work and struggling with wakeful nights and short, rushed mornings. Shifting my morning priorities and routines helped me lay the foundation for a slower, calmer life, even as my days remained full. Cultivate Calm Mornings is the framework that guided that shift. Now, I'm able to:
Evaluate and edit my mornings when things start to feel too fast.
Make simple shifts that open space for what matters to me in the morning.
Easily adjust rhythms with external changes (like daylight savings).
Your series really helped me think differently about what slow mornings could look like!

Workshop 1: Identifying the Gap
Reconnect with what you truly want your mornings to feel like and tap into your deep inner worthiness to receive it.
Workshop 2: Creating Space
Learn how to gently move the nonessentials off your morning plate so you have room to breathe.
Workshop 3: Building Your Dream Mornings
Integrate simple rituals that nourish you and root into your resolve to make your dream mornings your new normal.
Each workshop includes:
A calming, themed yoga practice to drop into your body
A real-time guided journaling session to reflect and realign
A vision-based meditation to integrate what's possible
Gentle, supportive homework to embody the change
Yes, this program is beginner friendly. Think of me as your guide, but remember, you are always in control. If a yoga pose doesn't feel good in your body, you can skip it or do your own version. (This goes for advanced yogis too!)
The three workshops range from 65-85 minutes. The yoga movement practices range from around 35-45 minutes. You could do the journaling and meditations separate from the yoga movement classes, but I recommend doing them all at once if you are able.
My yoga teaching style is most closely aligned with hatha yoga, which is a slower pace that allows the participant to breathe and feel into each pose before moving to the next. Many poses are held for several breaths, but it is not as slow as a yin or restorative yoga class. Expect long, quiet savasana (corpse pose) sessions at the end of each practice. This time is when you integrate everything you've experienced in your practice.
Of course! Each workshop contains a visualization meditation, meaning I guide you through the meditation. There are stretches of silence, which can be uncomfortable if you are not used to meditation, but think of them as practice for the slower lifestyle you are creating through this program.
Yes! I strongly believe that examining and literally "workshopping" your mornings through the lense of this framework can help anyone, but especially busy, working moms, find more breathing room in the morning. The best part is, you don't have to change everything at once. The homework assignments help you make the shift over the course of three weeks, so you're not overhauling everything at once and then immediately feeling behind. You deserve calmer mornings!
